Britt + Steve’s Wedding

@ Black Brewing Co, WA

This gorgeous pair, Britt + Steve got married on a stunning spring day amidst a soulful acoustic guitar set, with the backdrop of the beautiful lake at Black Brewing Co near Yallingup, south west WA.

Steve is a surfer and for him and Britt, this little southwest corner held a very dear place in their hearts and was a huge part of their love story. Steve asked if I could create a seating chart on one of his old surfboards, and I was really excited to try to bring this concept to life. With his ideas it all came together, the contours of the Cape Naturaliste coast following the nose of the surfboard, displaying all of his favourite surf spots (& Britt’s fave surf-watching spots!)

It was such a pleasure to work with these two, and to see their vision come to life on their gorgeous wedding day.

Gemma + Cooper’s Wedding

@ PS Arts Space, Fremantle WA

What a stunning pair! Gemma and Coops rounded up some of the best in the wedding biz to be on hand to pull off their gorgeous mid-winter wedding in Fremantle! The bouquets and floral work was incredible, and with the hanging festoon lighting the PS Arts space provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic but modern, super-cool wedding.

The drinks list was a dream (see below: some amazing choices, hello Cape Mentelle, I’m talking to you) and the seating chart guided guests to their places, where they would find a copper seating tag written with white “faux-lligraphy”. This was a really unique idea that Gemma dreamt up, and I loved it, and though it looked fantastic on the day!

Jane + Lachlan’s Wedding

@ Mandoon Estate, WA

After their beautiful ceremony in a grand cathedral, (which featured some incredibly cute little nieces & nephews, I might add) the pair headed to Jane’s family’s picturesque home in the Perth hills to chill with their bridal party and allow for some stunning photographs to be snapped.

Jane requested hand written calligraphy for their reception at the gorgeous Mandoon Estate, and once she saw the shimmery copper ink she was sold! The place cards looked stunning set among the lush florals and gorgeous styling.

Jane and Lachlan were such a breeze to work with, a beautiful couple inside and out.

Emily + Josh’s Wedding

@ Lamont’s Bishops House, Perth WA

One of the wettest days in January found Emily and Josh needing to change plans last minute for their wedding celebration, from an open air party to underneath a marquee at Lamont’s Bishops House. Luckily, this marquee would have to be one of the prettiest sights I have ever seen, with a dreamy canopy of twinkling festoon lights. Fair to say the rain did not dampen any of the party spirit that night for the pair or their guests!

Emily and Josh requested small kraft name tags to attach to their lolly jars to mark each guest’s seat, and a large seating chart. It was fantastic to work with these two, and to see it all come together on their beautiful wedding day.
